<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: REP-ADM/TRANSFER 12HR - PER DIEMLocation: CA-Palm SpringsOther Locations:GENERAL DUTIES:The Admissions Transfer Representative reports to the Admissions Coordinator for daily supervision. The Admissions Transfer Representative is responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting information required for the admission and/or transfer of patients into and out of this facility. This information includes medical diagnosis, type of bed required, admitting physician, demographic and basic insurance information needed for the identification and registration of the patient. The Admissions Transfer Representative will forward this information to the registration department, obtain an appropriate bed as directed by the Admissions Coordinator, admit or transfer the patient in Cerner and/or Hospital ADT system, apply the appropriate room accommodation code, and communicate any problems immediately to the Admissions Coordinator, Emergency Clinical Manager, and House Supervisor. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes only.Required: Completion of Medical Terminology class. Type 35 WPM.
