<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Support Equipment Engineer 4Location: United States-California-PalmdaleOther Locations: nullResponsible for the analysis, documentation, design, development, and acquisition of Support Equipment in support of the manned and/or unmanned air vehicle program.Must be able to utilize a Systems Engineering approach to establish Support Equipment functional and performance requirements and advance through the solution concept development, hardware design, manufacture and test phases. Applicants will be responsible to ensure that Support Equipment requirements are coordinated with Integrated Product Team members, as well as with subcontractors and using customers. Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing Support Equipment projects and serves as liaison between management and planning, project team, global supply chain and line management. Applicants must be familiar with the Microsoft Office tool suite and Computer Aided Design tools (CATIA preferred).Must also contribute to the completion of assigned technical tasks and meet schedule and cost requirements. Must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform basic professional tasks, develop recommended solutions to technical problems assigned, and follow technical and process guidance and instruction.Identifies risks and opportunities and coordinates with project teams to mitigate and retire risks. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Prepares briefings for management and develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Candidate must be able to use engineering applications and technical principles, theories, and concepts as directed. Candidates must possess related experience and possess a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree.Candidates must be eager to learn, self motivated and possess excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
