Position Description
This position reports directly to Director of Information Security.
- Provide 24/7 on-call security incident response and remediation drive to completion.
- Manage security projects scope, requirements, design and implementation.
- Network and systems monitoring, POC, documentation.
- Provide strong written and oral communications awareness campaigns and general security training, internal security blog, inquiries.
- Evaluate systems, applications and projects to determine information security risks developing plans to address any issues and managing to completion.
- Subject Matter Expert work with other engineering teams to ensure that security requirements are satisfied.
- Manage change represent Security concerns at change control and evaluate and approve changes.
- Create, implement and document comprehensive security policies, standards and procedures.
- Take on assignments to completion with minimal supervision or by following high level guidelines.
- Analyze needs and to determine priorities based on strategic and business objectives.
- Evaluate new technologies and report findings and recommendations.
- Engage proactive solutions to work and interactions drive to results.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in a technical or business oriented discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of project management experience.
- 5 to 6 years of security engineering, design and architecture, implementation.
- Experience with a variety of Firewalls, IPS, SIEM, Anti-Malware, Forensics tools, DLP, NAC and Encryption.
- Experience with incident response and forensics.
- Experience with analyzing business requirements, scope and designing solutions.
- Implemented application security solutions.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and government security.
- Security certifications a plus CISSP, CISM, GIAC.
