The members of technical marketing group are expected to be virtualization experts as well as evangelists who have a commanding understanding of VMware''s technologies and know how to integrate them into end to end solutions that address the business and IT challenges of our customers. The group is responsible for the technical enablement of the VMware field, partners and customers.The Role:VMware is looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Marketing Manager who has extensive information and network security experience in the virtualization and cloud space. You will be called upon to leverage your skills and experience to demonstrate the important role that information and network security plays in end to end integrated solutions that are built on VMware technologies and solutions. You will achieve this through the development of best practices, reference architectures, technical presentations and videos to empower our field, partners and customers who are looking to implement VMware technologies and solutions in the datacenters.Your responsibilities will include the following:- As a member of the Technical Marketing Group in the Cloud Infrastructure Business Unit you will be responsible for Technical Marketing activities as it relates to Information and Network Security in VMware virtualized environments- Information and Network Security expert and evangelist who is capable of articulating and demonstrating how information and network security considerations affect virtual and cloud environments. A key focus is on the securing and hardening of virtual and cloud infrastructure, and operational aspects of security in these environments.- Collaboration with the Product Management and Product Marketing teams who are responsible for the information and network security components within VMware technologies and solutions as well as the positioning and the marketing of them- Collaboration with our Field Organization to ensure they are empowered to drive and enable our customers to adopt VMware technologies and solutions- Be an evangelist and the "voice" of VMware to customers, partners and the field in the area of Information and Network Security. This includes but is not limited to: being active on social media (blogs, Twitter, etc), presenting at regional and national events (VMUG, VMworld, VMware Partner Exchange, etc), and reaching out and building relationship with other experts in the community.- Build solid strategic relationships with customers who are pushing the boundaries with respect to how they deploy and use our technologies and solutions in their data centers, so they may become customer references in case studies, which can be leveraged by our partners and customer who are looking to deploy our technologies and solutions- Ensure that technical feedback from partners and customers is brought back to the respective Product Managers
