<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Cash Control SpecialistLocation: US-CA-PasadenaCategory: Investment Support - Bank & Cash ManagementHow to Apply:Interested in this opportunity?* Apply now!(preferred)* Email my friend this opportunityOpportunity Details:Overview:Individual will be responsible for supporting the cash control processes.Responsibilities:* Communication to the trading desk of all cash deficient portfolios on a daily basis* Ensuring that the cash desk raises funds to cover daily overdrafts and that trade instruction is sent to bank by deadlines* Communicating with internal departments, brokers, and custodians to facilitate the resolution of all time sensitive cash issues* Responsible for the verification of all daily cash flows in all WA accounts and communicating to various internal departments* Work with SMF Group to ensure timely and accurate updates of security factor and coupon information* Control of data flow into BNYM reconciliation system “TLM” from all custodians and from internal accounting system* Research and resolve all Principal and interest payment breaks between WA and Custodian* Maintenance of new accounts and custodian changes in TLM* Work with IT to continually automate and improve upon existing processes and enhancements to WA proprietary systems* Other duties will include some or all of the following:* Daily calculation of available investable date cash for all Repo eligible accounts* Confirmation and allocation of all Repo trades executed by the Cash desk* Support financing activities for the hedge funds* Weekly maintenance of STIF rates databaseCompetencies:* Understanding the features of different securities across various sectors of the fixed income market* Ability to multi-task and absorb information quickly* Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment* Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills* Works well in a team environment* Possesses excellent communication skills* Possesses excellent Excel skills and macro writing a plusQualifications:Undergraduate degree in related field.
