JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Outside Sales personnel develop lasting, ethical customer relationships to maximize our share of the customers potential, to meet or exceed the established sales and gross profit goals, and to increase profit sharing. He/She becomes an integral part of each assigned account, understanding the customers business and needs, ensuring our role as their primary supplier.
Job Duties
1. Visit customer offices and job sites to assess customer needs and potential, to develop and maintain strong relationships, and to generate and close sales.
2. Analyze customer data, develop and execute strategies to grow market share and meet or exceed the monthly required GP$ target.
3. Process Sales Orders, Bids, Job Information packages, and perform all sales functions in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
4. Attend scheduled sales meetings, maintain weekly sales plans and call reports, and keep customer contact files current.
5. Prospect new customers and alert the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager of viable prospects for screening.
6. Maintain product literature files and sample material to ensure the most current and accurate information is always provided to our customers.
7. Investigate and resolve customer problems address pricing deductions and material returns timely, exceeding customer expectations and benefiting the Profit Center.
8. Work with the customer, Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager to facilitate payment of all accounts receivable communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customers business that might cause a credit risk.

- Self-directed with ability to plan and organize effective sales calls.
- Able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
- Able to learn and operate keyboard and mouse the applicable software system Eclipse, Mincron used to process orders.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Education, Training and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years outside sales experience, contractor sales preferred
- A proper and valid drivers license for the vehicles being driven
- A driving record that demonstrates good driving skills in compliance with Company policy
- Extensive knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center
- Use Microsoft Office software Outlook, Word, Excel to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, customer contact files, and to analyze customer data
