Technology Associates partners with government and commercial agencies that require development of systems, such as communication systems, asset management, network deployment and engineering services, power and energy management solutions, portal applications, command and control, and geospatial information systems GIS to operate more efficiently and profitably.
Responsible for asset management software configuration, database maintenance and security, and related business requirements supporting asset management software applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Perform development tasks as described in system design documents.
2.Incorporate the Development phase into the overall Project lifecycle.
3.Ensure that all development efforts comply with IA and CCM policies and guidance.
4.Interpret and redesign business processes.
5.Develop Applications to the specifications of design principles, processes, models, and standards that address business requirements and goals.
6.Perform unit and integration testing of all programs, scripts or processes that are created or modified. Unit and integration testing must be performed within the client infrastructure on environments similar to the proposed production business system.
7.All objects to be modified will be retrieved checked out from source control and not from operational environments.
8.Maintain communication with vendors and clients.
9.Domestic travel as required.
10.Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent certifications
Fine to Ten years experience in management maintenance database and application arena
Intermediate level knowledge with Oracle and/or SQL database structure
Advanced Knowledge of IIS and Active Directory
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies SharePoint, C#, .Net, TFS, and related web-base technologies such as XML/XSL
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
Analytical and problem solving skills
Customer service skills and/or strong interpersonal skills
US Citizenship is required. Candidates may be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
