Gathers initial requirements for new suppliers, manages quoting process from beginning to end, analyzes quotes and the impact on cost and delivery. Create monthly quality and delivery reports for suppliers to ensure they meet agreed upon standards.Plans and buys one or more specific commodities consistent with total quality, cost and schedule requirements. The incumbent keeps abreast of industry trends for assigned commodities that may affect quality, cost, availability and/or risk; establishes and maintains supplier relationships to minimize risk and disruptions; and manages the supplier base and contract adherence. Normally receives no instruction on routine work; general instructions on new assignments Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing data from which answers can be readily obtained Handles problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Adheres to policies and procedures.* Bachelor''s degree and 0-2 years experience in the electronics industry and/or purchasing.* Strong verbal and written English communications* Have the ability to build relationships quickly across the organization.* Excellent competency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point.* Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to handle a heavy workload and a myriad of details.* Must be able to understand the value and impact of tasks on the big picture.Job: Supply Chain / Logistics
