DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in establishing budgets and cost tracking
for UAV programs.  Assist in analyzing and
reporting cost and schedule performance utilizing
Earned Value Management EVMS techniques.  Review
cost and schedule performance with Program
Managers and Project Engineers to develop variance
explanations and corrective action plans.
Coordinate/administrate the Estimate to Complete
process for assigned programs.  Interface with
Accounting department to monitor subcontractor
payments, contract invoicing and accounts
receivable for assigned programs.  Monitor funding
levels and analyze profit performance to targets.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Typically requires a bachelors degree in business
administration with an emphasis in accounting
and/or finance and six or more years of
progressive professional cost accounting
experience in a corporate environment, preferably
with a government contractor, including experience
with Earned Value Management.  May substitute
equivalent experience in lieu of education. Must
have a comprehensive understanding of industry and
government cost accounting principles, theories
and concepts and a complete and thorough knowledge
of cost accounting practices, techniques, and
standards. Must be customer focused and possess
1 the ability to identify issues and develop
solutions to a variety of problems of diverse
scope and complexity 2 excellent analytical,
verbal and written communication skills to
accurately document, report, and present
accounting and finance findings 3 excellent
interpersonal skills to influence and guide all
levels of employees, including senior managers and
senior external parties on accounting and finance
matters 4 the ability to maintain the
confidentiality of sensitive information 5 the
ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects
6 the ability to represent the department or
company on projects  and 7 excellent computer
skills. Ability to work independently or in a team
environment is essential as is the ability to work
extended hours and travel as required. Must have
thorough knowledge and understanding of government
reporting requirements.
Proficient in MS Office applications.  Experience
with MS Excel required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience in a Defense
contracting/manufacturing environment. Knowledge
of Government reporting requirements. EOE
