The Mechanical Design Engineer must have experience utilizing ProEngineer Wildfire 4.0. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be using standard and advanced CAD techniques and skills, works from engineering input including verbal and written instructions, sketches, or other specifications, and prepares engineering layouts and/or detailed drawings of subsystems or subassemblies which reflect compatibility with other mating systems or equipment. The Mechanical Design Engineer verifies own work, checking dimensions, materials used, quantities, performing mathematical calculations supported by handbooks and catalogs. The Mechanical Design Engineer will perform basic engineering calculations such as tolerance stack up, interface compatibility, ease of assembly, and applicable system parameters using pertinent reference material. The Mechanical Design Engineer will revise CAD or hand drawn board drawings as required.
