<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Network Engineer, San Diego, CALocation: California-Rancho BernardoSUMMARY of JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:The primary initiative for this position is to provide LAN and WAN services supporting our Teradata Labs environment. These services include our Cisco data network infrastructure. The Network engineer is responsible for rapidly changing Lab product requirements, planning, design, implementing, and engineering data networking solutions to meet Teradata Labs business requirements. The Network engineer is responsible for Tier 3 technical support and will respond to problems and outages as tasked via service ticket. The hired associate must a have solid, proven experience with supporting a global Cisco LAN (Nexus), WAN routers and Cisco LAN switch infrastructures. The hired associate will be responsible for understanding network performance issues and possible root causes, application performance issues as related to the Lab server / application experience, various WAN topologies inlcuding MPLS and Metro-E (layer 2) methods. The ability to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional engineering members is very important as is the ability to be focused and a self-starter. Work Environment This person should be located in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This person will work with our on-site TD Engineering team to execute with change management to their Lab environments.
