PAY RATE=
$14.42- $16.83 an hour Commensurate with Experience**
WORK SCHEDULE=
Mon-Fri, Day,
Hours per week=40 hours**
RESPONSIBILITIES=
1.Provide counseling and guidance to low and moderate income homeowners at risk of or in the process of losing their homes.
2.Negotiate with mortgage lenders and brokers, loan servicers and real estate agents.
3.Analyze complex situations to assist the client in finding the best solution.
4.Stay current on issues relevant to the mortgage lending, refinance, and changes in foreclosure laws and the availability of resources and special programs the city and county jurisdictions.
5.Assist with homeownership post purchase and foreclosure prevention educational presentations at the Home Ownership Centers and to community organizations.
6.Assist in marketing the services available through the Program.
7.Research activities in real estate, lending and related markets.
8.Participate in policy recommendations.
9.Maintain and monitor clients files and database.
10.Write reports and correspondence as needed.
11.Secure and/or maintain individual Certification as a Home Ownership Retention Specialist commonly referred to as Foreclosure Counselor.
12.Uphold high organizational standards and adopted HomeStrong USA core values. Training will be provided.**
Required=
1.Minimum two years of related experience in loss mitigation, collections, housing counseling, lending, or real estate experience in mortgage industry required.
2.Bachelor Degree preferred, or an AA or two years experience in a related field
3.Strong  verbal and written communication skills
4.Working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
5.Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
6.Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, company physical**
