Will be called upon to perform management level work that allows other employees to perform their non-management duties. The duties require the position exercise independent judgement and use discretion over matters of significance on an ongoing basis and directly and indirectly supervise the whole maintenance department, maintaining communication with the Golf Course Superintendent. The relationship between the Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent is one of shared leadership and, through this developmental assignment; the Assistant Superintendent acquires the knowledge and problem-solving abilities in order to be promoted to Golf Course Superintendent position.Job Requirements :2-3 years in Golf Course Maintenance4 yr or 2 yr Turf degree approved by regional managementPesticide Applicators LicenseMust have technical and working knowledge of all equipment, products, and other resources related to Golf Course operations and to implement these resources to the level of quality as established by company standards and Club expectations
