Provide architectural leadership for the design,
development, and implementation of standards and
governance strategies related to good application
architecture
Analyze high-level business requirements and help
provide feasibility and level-of-effort
assessments
Perform analysis of proposed solutions
architectures and make recommendations or set
direction within the context of Esris enterprise
application architecture
Help define and coordinate solutions related to
shared source code control, deployment processes,
exception frameworks and alerting, testing
frameworks, security, and other related concerns
Lead application architecture meetings with
stakeholders for key decision making related to
application solutions
Develop prototype solutions to verify capabilities
for new systems development, enhancement, and
maintenance
Work as a key member of the Architecture Core Team
to provide support for Esris enterprise
architecture, contributing as an expert of
application architecture
Coordinate a team of senior developer staff across
IST, to identify and coordinate larger shared
concerns related to the solutions we provide
Requirements
Bachelors or masters in information systems,
computer science, or related field
Minimum of five years of experience architecting
application solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and document complex business
processes and project details
Understanding of technical jargon and ability to
communicate it in laymans terms to non-technical
participants
Flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety
of challenging tasks
Ability to solve problems and to make effective
decisions under pressure
