ArcGIS software. We are seeking engineers,
computer scientists, and GIS analysts who have a
passion for building great, high quality
commercial software to help test and release
ArcGIS. Your work will involve the development of
new testing techniques and tools.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with development programmers on
software project teams to design new software
components and functionality
Manage focused development projects and track the
development cycle to ensure release dates are met
Create and execute high quality test plans and
identify workflow improvements
Develop automated test procedures
Perform software quality assurance testing
Write and review information on software
capabilities
Review and track bug fixes as they are reported
from customers
Diagnose user problems and provide solutions for
user-reported issues
Coordinate with development staff on testing and
certification of daily software builds
Mentor less experienced team members and provide
expertise to help them contribute more to team
goals
Gather and document requirements for future
development based on client feedback
Requirements
Bachelors in GIS, geography, computer science, or
engineering
Five years of relevant experience in the job
offered or five years of experience as a developer
support analyst
Demonstrated knowledge or experience with
commercial RDBMS, ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcSDE, and
Java
