Certify the quality of ArcGIS by rigorous testing
of high-accuracy GPS receivers and VRS positioning
systems
Validate the accuracy of spatial data constructed
using precise GPS measurements and post-processed
using positional algorithms
Work with project teams to design and implement
key mobile GIS applications and functionality
Ensure quality of software for all aspects of the
GIS user experience and the GIS developer
experience through testing mobile device hardware,
software functions, user interface, field to
office workflows, and programmer interfaces and
functions
Requirements
Masters degree in computer science, geography,
GIS, engineering, or related field
One year of experience in the position offered or
one year of experience as a teaching or research
assistant
Demonstrated experience with Java, wireless sensor
network system
Experience may be gained concurrently or as part
of education curriculum
