Coordinates contact with the appropriate clinical, hospital community resources. Also, coordinates with clinicians and hospital staff to facilitate hospital admissions. Performs other duties as assigned.Job Specifications: Current and unrestricted CA nursing license or clinical specialist certification in psych, BLS required. Knowledge of psychotropic medications. 1+ years med/surg experience; and as applicable: 1+ years experience of the following; in age group, in acute psych., chemical dependency/detox and in psychiatric intake preferred. Basic clinical skills in delivery of nursing care in acute care facility.
