Are you a GIS professional with experience in
software/performance testing? Join our dynamic,
growing Performance and Scalability Testing Team
whose primary mission is advocating, conducting,
and supporting performance and scalability testing
of ArcGIS products.
Responsibilities
Conduct performance, durability, and scalability
testing of ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS for
Server, ArcGIS for Server Web ADFs, and ArcGIS for
Desktop, and the geodatabase
Maintain, monitor, and execute performance and
load tests
Author test reports
Liaise with development teams to determine
performance testing goals and current level of
performance testing
Serve as the system administrator for hardware
environment used by the Performance and
Scalability Testing group
Assist with the review, analysis, and
investigation of test results
Requirements
Bachelors or masters in computer science,
mathematics, GIS, or related field, depending on
position level
Strong Windows background
Strong problem solving ability and excellent
communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed
in a fast-paced work environment
Prior experience investigating performance and
scalability problems
Experience using ArcGIS products
Experience configuring and installing hardware
environments with operating systems, patches,
DBMSs, and ArcGIS products
Recommended Qualifications
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux
Knowledge of DBMS internals and administration
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
