Evangelize and support ArcGIS imagery
functionality by creating useful and relevant
resources that communicate to and educate ArcGIS
users to help them be more successful. In this
role, you will work with development and product
engineer leads in designing, creating, and
publishing content such as documentation,
recommended workflows, videos, blogs, use case
studies, and other rich media.
Responsibilities
Manage the Imagery Community of the ArcGIS
Resource Center by envisioning, authoring,
reviewing, and publishing content such as software
documentation, white papers, tutorials, etc. be a
user advocate by participating in forums and user
communities
Serve as the Raster Development Team software and
SDK documentation lead author by working with
product engineers and developers to write and edit
clear, understandable documentation
Review and edit imagery workflow and solutions
documentation and white papers
Write and publish the Raster Development Team blog
Design, author, and publish tutorial, How To,
and workflow videos
Review and respond to user questions on the raster
forums
Work with the Esri Story Map Team to define topics
for imagery-related story maps
Work with the Esri Mapping Center Team to define
imagery-related cartographic web maps
Visit successful user sites and write use case
studies and success stories
Participate and help attract users to holistic lab
testing and help them be successful
Requirements
Bachelors or masters in computer science,
geography, remote sensing, or related field,
depending on position level
Minimum of five years of GIS, remote sensing/image
processing, and/or photogrammetry/image analysis
experience
Minimum of one year of experience with ArcGIS
products
Ability to manage detailed information and multi-
task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
