Experience with customers in one or more of the following vertical industries is preferred: Financial Services, Manufacturing, Internet (Cloud), Life Sciences and Media/Entertainment. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to project the number of contacts to be made. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Prepare presentations, value propositions, proposals and assist in contract negotiation if necessary to drive sales process. Develop and maintain personal sales materials and current product knowledge. Develop and execute account plans for territory. Leverage sales methodology to drive opportunities to closure. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity and forecast reports in a timely manner. Coordinate company to help accomplish the work required to close sales. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Lead / assist the technical operations and professional services organizations through customer presented operational reviews and other activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Help identify and resolve client concerns. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to internal SGI. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.Job Requirements: Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Bachelor''s Degree with three to five years of sales or marketing experience with a keen insight into data center operations and value that IT brings to the companies business. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients, This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license within 60 days of employment.
