As senior GC/MS operator, is responsible for expert interpretation of mass spectra. As senior GC chemist, provides expert advice in the separation of organic compounds. The Senior Organic Analytical Chemist is responsible for all quality control procedures and requirements, and for quality assurance of analysis data, and for preparation and review of analytical data reports. May also supervise the performance of field analytical tasks and perform analyses.QualificationsM.S. degree in chemistry and at least six years of combined experience in all facets of organic analysis, including sample extractions and preparation, GC and GC/MS analysis and interpretation, QA/QC procedures, and data review and validation required. Minimum of two years of laboratory supervisory and/or management experience required.
