<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>This position supports tasking at the Naval Air
Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, CA.
The Electronic Technicians functions include, but
are not limited to, interpret schematics,
troubleshoot threat devices to the component
level, and operate computer drive software
interface instrumentation, operation of complex
test equipment used in troubleshooting and the
acceptance testing of these devices.  Candidate
will also disassemble, assemble, modify, and test
devices to Government standard processes and
procedures.  Additional responsibilities include
documenting inspections, observations and test
results manually and electronically.  The
Contractors technician support will operate
devices in harsh environments during reliability,
sustainability, integration, and interoperability
testing operations.
Education
Associates Degree and a minimum of one 1 year
related experience required.  Equivalent
specialized or technician skilled experience or
other certification may be accepted in lieu of
degree.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Candidate must be proficient in MS Office tools -
Word and Excel is expected.  Working knowledge or
experience with electronics and equipment testing
environment is required. The selected candidate
should have experience with test and data
equipment set up and tear down of threat
equipment to support specified tests and the
ability to interpret test plans.  The selected
candidate must possess a valid drivers license
and must be able to work well with others in a
dynamically structured team environment.  This
position may require extended work hours, exposure
to outdoors, travel, heavy lifting 30 to 50 lbs,
working on ladders, in man-lift baskets, and
around noisy equipment in a hazardous/stressful or
environmentally harsh environment.

requirements for access to classified information.
