<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Principal System Engineer or Electronic Warfare Scientist  (Job Number:314779)Description:SAIC is seeking a Principal System Engineer or Electronic Warfare Scientist.The successful candidate will act as a technical leader on one or more projects involving development and electronic warfare (EW) related applications of radar systems, threat simulation, signals intelligence and/or communications systems. Experience and demonstrated understanding of EW Open Air Range systems integration, instrumentation, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test capabilities, and T&E support is required. Able to lead an inter-disciplinary multi-contractor engineering development team to accomplish threat simulator and threat simulation development and test infrastructure capabilities integration. The candidate shall provide sound technical guidance on a variety of engineering, technical support related to development, fabrication, procurement, integration, test, training and technical support of Radar systems, Electro-Optical/Infrared/MillimeterWave/Ultra-violet/Laser Command, Control, Communications, and Countermeasures Intelligence (C4I), Directed Energy Threat Simulator (DETS) systems, and related systems and components.The candidate will also be familiar with and have expertise in Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) Analysis of foreign systems, Waveform Analysis, Systems Analysis, Functional Flow Analysis, Mission Analysis, Computer Simulations, and open literature searches. The candidate shall provide technical coordination and support for Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) test planning and conduct, and will be able to support efforts to provide Foreign Material Exploitation for selected hardware systems and their OAR or other test facility integration efforts.Specific Tasks include: 1. Provide technical leadership and oversight of SAIC and subcontractor expertise and processes to accomplish customer directed tasking. 2. Assist the Program Manager in developing schedules and plans of actions and milestones for producing deliverable products and reports within customer-directed timelines. 3. Participate in customer meetings, apply knowledge gained at these meeting to help manage task orders. 4. Support and provide system engineering expertise to evaluate task order requirements related to EW T&E facility (OAR and HWIL) engineering tasks. 5. Establish personal relationships with a wide variety of support personnel in order to meet program objectives. 6. Provide System Engineering (SE) support for COTS acquisition of EO/IR and RF components. 7. Manage impacts of COTS obsolescence.Qualifications:Required Experience and Education: 10+ years of experience supporting DoD EW related System Engineering and test activities and BS in engineering or scientific discipline. MS in engineering or scientific discipline desired. Ability to travel 25-30% of the time. Rudimentary understanding of modern Navy threat systems principles. MS Office: particularly PowerPoint and Word. Strong organizational skills.Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
