This task includes: Scanning documents, Processing special officer requests, CSD and Bupers Documents as well as processing awards and arranging change of command and retirement scripts, filing and document retrieval, coordinating and managing recognition processes, managing military administrative and flight scheduling processes and providing customer unique data base services and report generation. This position is a Jacobs position and may be assigned to a teammate company (DCS,eLe,NDTI).Qualifications:Direct Military experience as Senior Yeoman, or AZ Petty Officer in the US Navy is required for this position. Two (2) years of college work in a computer or technical discipline and two (2) years of directly related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education plus twelve (12) years’ experience in processing and meeting Navy Personnel administrative needs in the following areas: NAVFIT98A/BUPERSINST1610.10, special request change processing, analysis of Navy instructions, leave control and Awards processing. Experience in office administration, activity scheduling, originating official correspondence and daily work with experience working with aircraft scheduling systems is a plus. Candidates shall have solid written communication skills and be able to work assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain an interim and a permanent U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required.Physical Requirements:• Working at a computer or desk (Considerations: Sitting, Eyes, Hands) 75%• May involve long periods of sitting or standing depending on current taskingWork Environment:• An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)• Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients• Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skillsEquipment and Machines:• Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstationAttendance:• Normal hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm• Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines• Regular attendance is necessary and requiredOther Essential Functions:• Must be able to communicate effectively• Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with management and employees• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others• Must be able to support and work in a proactive team environment• Must hold the safety of yourself and those around you as the number one priority in the workplace• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain an interim and a permanent U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
