#8232Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Manager of Parking and Police
Support Operations, the Event Services Specialist will be assigned
primarily to support Parking Services operations at special
events, including, scheduling and providing work direction for
event staff, event set up, oversight of cash collection, traffic
control services and event customer service.
The Event Services Specialist may also perform community
service functions related to parking, including greeting
customers at the Parking Information Center, and assisting with
venue safety and crowd management for events and may also be
assigned administrative tasks relating to his/her field duties.
This position requires wearing a uniform and the ability to work
a flexible schedule which includes working primarily nights and
weekends schedule may also include holidays, rotating shifts
and occasional callbacks. Overtime may be required to meet
operational needs.  Duties take place mostly in an outdoor
setting located in and about the Sonoma State University
campus.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience in a
related field, including event coordination, parking or traffic
control or other relevant experience prior supervisory
experience preferred.
Possession of a valid California drivers license

The salary range for this position is $15.88 to $23.83 an hour.
The salary for this position will be $18.00 an hour.  Benefits
include vacation, sick, and holiday time earned in relation to
hours worked.
