Armed with the ability to help businesses of all sizes to improve the efficiency and cost of transportation, youll be securing new business. You will be responsible for soliciting new accounts and selling all of C.H. Robinsons services on a national level including, but not limited to Truckload, LTL, Intermodal and Global Forwarding. You will provide C.H. Robinsons logistical services to customers offering a variety of solutions to moving their product. You will be in daily contact with potential customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling company products and services in accordance with sales policies and procedures, and in pursuit of established goals and objectives.Responsibilities
Independently generate new sales revenue for the Sacramento, CA branch Manage customer interactions prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, making customer calls, and closing deals Focus on selling the core products, modes and services of C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc.Participate in face-to-face meetings with potential and new shipper customersCollaborate with team on pricing decisions, the selection of suppliers and timing of shipmentsTransition new accounts to an Account Manager or Transportation RepresentativeMeet monthly sales and business expense goalsReport on sales results every month and update sales funnel weeklyWorks with manager in forecasting, business planning, and strategyAbility to travel up to 50% of the time if neededRequired Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years successful B2B outside sales experienceBachelors DegreeHeavy cold calling and networking experienceAbility to sell at the highest level of an organizationPossess a strong sales presentation and successful closing background Understand the consultative sales processStrong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Demonstrates ability to compete aggressively and identify successful sales tactics Excellent communication skills written and oral Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently, but as part of a team to reach a common goalBenefits
