other pertinent information, observe client for
abnormal physical or mental behavior, administers
various tests such as psychological tests and
other related tests, review results to evaluate
client needs,assist in treatment for behavior
modification and stress management for controlling
disorders and other problems, change method and
degree of therapy when indicated by client
reactions, discuss progress towards goals with
client such as controlling weight, stress, or
substance abuse, consult with other staff and
specialists to amend treatment plan as needed,
conduct relaxation exercises, peer counseling
groups, and family counseling during clinical
therapy sessions, refer clients to supportive
services to supplement treatment and counseling.
