Under minimal direction, the Human Resources Support 4 performs a variety of complex clerical support tasks and a variety of administrative responsibilities where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. This position provides leadership to lower level personnel through assignment of work, training, coordination and checking of assignments, and is located in Sacramento, California.Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):70% - Performs a variety of training related support duties* Exposure to confidential and sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact and discretion* Supports the Director of Talent & Organizational Development, in the areas of training requests, organizational needs in response to audits, regulatory requirements, drafting and editing of presentation documentation for professional aesthetics and formatting, calendar coordination and scheduling, budget reconciliation, expense report preparation, monitoring and placing supply orders* Preserve confidentiality in all matters and documents, fielding and responding to employee requests and inquiries, ordering and issuing of the Company service anniversary programs awards* Represents and interacts on behalf of the Director of Talent & Organizational Development with executive leadership and project staff on a routine basis* Serves as the key point of contact for various processes and projects as required* Acts as coordinator for department projects, following up on pending details, coordinating project team activities, managing project documentation (such as status reports, plan updates, etc.) and ensuring deadlines are met* Coordinates departmental intranet site updates. Monitors department or project budgets, keeping management apprised of budgetary status* Training administration - soon to be integrated into Oracle LMS for creating courses and scheduling classes, curriculum tracking, student enrollment, completion entries and reports, training notifications via phone and email, follow-up and follow through, training matrices and reporting, harassment compliance tracking for managers/class scheduling and setup and administration* Assists in preparation of documents for various training related audits and activities 25% -Prepares spreadsheets, sensitive or complex presentations, documents and forms* Personnel paperwork, performance appraisals, security reports, etc., including compiling data for use in a variety of special reports; performs a variety of assignments covering training program related matters, including responding to inquiries and summarizing information* Prepares Director&rsquo;s expense report documentation, makes travel arrangements, maintains calendars and coordinates meeting arrangements* Performs multiple office and clerical functions, including composition and distribution of correspondence, filing and general recordkeeping, answering phones and relaying messages* May provide work leadership to lower level personnel through assignment of work, training, coordination and checking assignments* May also support HR representatives on occasionSECONDARY FUNCTIONS:5% -Special projects and assignments as required.Requirements:* A High school education or equivalent and seven (7) years of directly related experience within a Human Resources environment* Requires the ability to exercise discretion and tact in processing documents and information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature* Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft O
