The AMM Planner will have two primary functions. One primary function is to design a functional, orderly, and secure parts area. The AMM Planner will then maintain all maintenance stock items physically on-site and systematically within SAP from the parts area. The other main function is to establish preventative maintenance plans for all operational equipment. The AMM Planner will then schedule preventative maintenance on all equipment in coordination with planned operational downtime. A strong background in maintenance and purchasing is key for this role.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:-Construct, organize, and maintain the maintenance parts storage area-Recommend and purchase the initial and ongoing stock of maintenance parts using equipment manuals, vendor support, and work experience-Create and maintain maintenance Bills of Materials (BOMs) and preventative maintenance tasks in SAP-Train maintenance mechanics to record task completion in SAP-Manage the flow and inventory of maintenance parts, including receipt of parts, kitting of parts to work orders, allocation of parts to maintenance tasks, and the execution of all parts movements in SAP-Use analytical tools and data to determine maintenance plans-Lead the Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM) process for manufacturing operations-Plan and schedule all maintenance work-Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to evaluate and track performance of equipment and effectiveness of maintenance-Perform analysis of work completed and adequacy or relevance of maintenance tasks-Research, select, develop, and maintain adequate sources of supply to ensure equipment and services needs are filled in an efficient and timely manner at the lowest cost-Communicate verbally or through reports all relevant issues concerning maintenance work-Issue purchase orders to vendors for all purchases for approved requisitions-Coordinate with A/P for timely vendor paymentKey qualifications include:-High School diploma or GED equivalent-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail-Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs-At least 2 years relevant work experience, manufacturing experience a plus-Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members-Computer proficiency in SAP and standard Microsoft Office software preferred-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentThis is a tremendous opportunity!
