JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The primary responsibilities for this role will
include
Serve as project manager for small to large-
sized domestic and international water resource,
hydroelectric and dam projects for a variety of
clients.
Ability to lead design work, supervise teams,
and communicate hydroelectric and dam design
concepts to other staff and clients.
Lead proposals, planning studies, budgeting,
recruiting, staffing, client relations, financial
management, technical management, coordination of
multi-discipline engineering efforts,
contractor/supplier quality control, quality
assurance, subcontract management and contract
administration and coordination of contractors.
Coordinating efforts with client counterparts to
ensure an ongoing positive relationship.
Supervising project engineers and staff, and
subcontractors in the successful delivery of
technical projects.
Participating in business development activities
including the identification of client
opportunities, proposal preparation,
presentations, contract negotiations, amendments,
change notices, and contract claims.
Establishing strong, productive internal
collaborative relationships with senior
management.
Applicant shall work in a manner to ensure

following company health and safety guidelines and
policies.
Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in
mechanical engineering or other applicable field
is required
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience
within the hydropower industry.
Must have strong written and verbal
communication skills and be able to work well in a
team environment
Must have a solid educational background and
sound knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanical
engineering including knowledge of pumps,
turbines, compressors and rotating machinery.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word,
Excel and Power Point.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
and a proven talent at business development.
Some domestic and international travel may be
required.
Strong willingness to be a part of a large
global engineering company, and to work with teams
in other offices around the world.
Must demonstrate written and verbal fluency in
English.

Preferred Specifications Masters degree
in mechanical engineering is preferred.
Professional Engineer PE registration
Mechanical, preferred.
PMI/PMP, preferred.
Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.
