<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Title: Technician Oil Field ServiceRequisition #: ISD2119Shift: Day ShiftRelocation Approved: NoGeographic Region: CaliforniaState/Province: CaliforniaCity: San ArdoJob Description: JOB SUMMARY: pumping Unit WorkOperates a variety of mechanical and manual servicing eqipment to clean and inspect tanks in accordance with PSC established methods, policies, practices and procedures and applicable regulations.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.• Cleans and services tanks using appropriate technicques including handwork or manual work in accordance with established methods and applicable regulations.• Manually cleans, installs, fits, repairs valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and al other external and internal equipment on theh tanks.• Operates all necessary tank cleaning equipment such as high pressure pumps, aire electrical and/or mechanical equipment including hot and/or cold air blow drying systems, in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.• May move tanks between yard and wash area.• Performs appripriate tests at beginning and conclusion of work to test qualtiy of atmosphere in container.• May assist in training less experienced employees• Maintains good housekeeping an cleanliness in the tank cleaning areas.• May greet cuswtomers(drivers and fill work orders based on the customers’ specificiations, and informs shift supervisors.• Completes all applicable and appropriate paperwork.• Reports complaints or rejections to management.• Checks all cleaning system hoses at the start of each shift• Performs maintenance when required.• Performs other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS:• TRAINING:o Basic safety courses including site specific procedureso Service line equipment:• terminology and • on the job training and• prescribed training courses• Tool identification and usage training• Local service offerings training• All required local trainingEDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:• CDL preferred• Compliance with MVR policy• Compliance with Drug policy• Compliance with Background checking policy• Compliance with DOT physical requirements• Possess BASIC Safety Council Reciprocal Card• Possess all required I-9 documentation• Successful completion of all required RCRA, DOT, and OSHA training as a condition of employmentJOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:• 0 – 2 years related experienceDEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Reading ,writing and comprehending in English• Ability to conform with work hours• Perform continuous strenous physcial work in hot or cold weather• Read and understand labels of chemical solutions and cleaning products used in various cleaning and servicing procedures• Write well enough to complete work orders per instructions of customersWORKING ENVIRONMENT:• On Call 24/7• Ability to report to work within one hour of receiving call to work.• Ability to lift a 150 lbs.
