WORK SCHEDULE=
1.Shift- Day
2.Work Days- 5 days a week
3.Hours per week-40**
RESPONSIBILITIES=
1.Diagnose, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck equipment including, but not limited to the following Engines diesel, Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Transmissions manual and automatic, Clutches, Differentials/Power dividers, PTO systems, Starters/Alternators, Refrigeration systems, Air conditioning systems including cold and hot units, Fan clutches, Engine electronics diesel, Power steering systems, and Steering gear box manual and power.
2.Adjust and replace brake, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
3.Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
4.Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.
5.Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
6.Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
7.Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components etc.
8.Must be able to perform Bit  Annual Inspection.
9.Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
10. Maintain work area appearance and safety.
11.Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS=
1.Three years plus of  Diesel Truck Mechanic experience
2.Must have a Class A California drivers license and good driving record
3.Willingness to travel as necessary customers yards and close geographical area, work at the required schedule and other specified locations
4.Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
5.Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner
6.Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
7.Must be able to read codes , trouble shoot, and follow instructions on the computer
8.Applicant must also be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding work
9.Employment verification  drug test will be conducted**
