Join a Company that Values You by: -Providing you the best in class on-boarding and on the job training curriculum -Encouraging you to exercise expert judgment in formulating your credit decisions -Utilizing a state of the art paperless origination and underwriting system that will help improve your quality while enhancing the customer experience -Rewarding you through competitive compensation and individually based monthly incentive plans  Responsible for approving complex loans in excess of regional, state, business unit or credit officer authority levels.  Functions may include: -ensuring conformity with bank policies and procedures -assisting in the development of guidance polices -ensuring conformity with bank policies and procedures -assisting in the development of guidance polices -monitoring delinquency, loss and risk rating accuracy across groups of regions, states and/or business units -working with credit officers and other senior officers with structuring, pricing and documentation of smaller loan transactions -hiring, coaching and developing the credit skills of officers -overseeing acquisition of new credit relationships, including some customer contact. -Ensures credit policies are applied in all areas of credit underwriting. -Grants credit and exception approvals and provides credit quality controls.Basic Qualifications: 5+ years lending experience.Minimum Qualifications: -Thorough understanding of underwriting policies and procedures, as well as investor guidelines and regulatory updates including knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FMLMC guidelines and standards. -Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication, and influence skills. -Demonstrated relationship management skills and the ability to make connections to the greater strategy while collaborating with multiple business partners and senior leaders.  Experience in the following: -Point of contact/involvement in escalations from operations, sales and clients -Underwriting/decisioning Issues meetings -engagement in the High Performance Lending strategy and Client Loan Review events. -Proven ability to monitor delinquency and performance of loans and proactively address issues. -Underwriting issues/observations. -Training needs. -Credit Policy/Exception Policy clarifications. -Non conforming loan experience  This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo''s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results.
