JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Radiographer III, under the general
supervision of the Technical Supervisor and under
the direction of the Radiologist, performs those
functions necessary to produce quality diagnostic
images. Operates complex radiographic equipment,
both mobile and stationary, in various patient
care settings for purposes of obtaining standard
diagnostic radiographs. Input and retrieve data
from the Hospital and Radiology Meditech System.
Work various shifts within the department.
Additionally, perform any and all job assignments
that are requested to be completed in an accurate
and timely manner. Demonstrates leadership skills
with the ability to delegate and follow-through
with decisions, including planning, directing,
implementing, coordinating and improving services.
Perform examinations in at least three of the
following areas Radiology/Fluoroscopy,
Mammography, Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterization
Lab/Special Procedures Lab, CT, MRI. Assigned
additional Lead Technologist duties such as
prioritizing work flow and assignment of duties,
quality control/review for assigned modality,
recommend process improvements to management.
Eighteen 18 months supervisory experience
required. This position requires the full
understanding and active participation in
fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of
San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee
will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core
Values. The employee shall support Community
Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the
goals and direction of the quality improvement,
process, and activities.
REQUIRED Graduation from an approved school of
radiologic technology and the passing of the
CRT/ARRT examinations is required.Mammography
permit, ARRT CT, ARRT MRI, RDMS, CRT/FLUORO and
Basic Life Support BLS certification, is
required as well as the ability to perform
examinations in at least three of the following
areas Radiology/Fluoroscopy, Mammography,
Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Special
Procedures Lab, CT, MRI. Two 2 years experience
in an acute care hospital, performing a variety of
general diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing
radiation is preferred and willingness to cross
train to angiography
