This position is responsible for providing pest prevention and bed bug services to commercial accounts in the assigned route. The hired person will work with clients daily, manage their route, and do special projects as necessary. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone interested in a route based position, enjoys working independently, and interested in advancement opportunity. Paid training, competitive pay plus bonus potential, and benefits offered.Position Description* Scheduling and performing bed bug and pest prevention services based on set procedures* Maintaining a Pest-free environment for clients through preventative and problem solving measures* Performing daily route travel to clients facilities* Ensuring client needs are satisfied by providing a polite, pleasant and professional service - Zero Tolerance Pest Prevention and World Class Service* Accurately completing Service Reports* Communicating daily with the General Manager(s) and Service Supervisor(s) to determine operational needs* Emphasizing safety in all aspects of pest prevention services and all other duties* Performing all other duties as assignedRequirements Positions Requirements* High School Diploma or GED* Stable work history - No more than three (3) jobs in the last five (5) years* Valid driver''s license and good driving record, no major violations and no more than three (3) minor violations in the past three (3) years* Must be able to work required hours - This position is a rotating shift position, mainly Early mornings (3am - 12), Day shift hours (7am - 4pm) and also includes some Night shifts (11pm - 7am)* Must be able to physically perform essential duties of the position which includes lifting 40 lbs. chest high, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling. balancing, walking and standing. Movement of equipment or furniture to perform bed bug treatments will be required* Must pass pre-employrment background, pre-employment and random drug tests* Computer skills - basic knowledge is requiredDesired Experience and Skills* Two (2) years in the services industry is preferred* Previous experience working independently and with little supervision, a plus* Experience in Pest Prevention a plus* Previous experience working a flexible, varied schedule* Excellent customer service skills* Strong attention to detail* Good decision making skills* A positive, can do attitude* Enjoys hands on work is keyThe Steritech Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer
