The Engineer 3 will perform the following duties:- Respond and attend to guest room repair requests/>- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs onpumps, motors, HVAC/R, laundry, kitchen and mechanical equipment/>- Perform preventive maintenance with tools on laundry, kitchen andmechanical equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, filterchanges, belt adjustments, etc.- Maintain daily shift logs ofoperation, maintenance, pool, spa and safety activities -Order necessary tools and equipment; maintain necessary stock itemsand visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines-Communicate with guests or associates to resolve maintenance issues- Fix plumbing problems such as unclogging drains,plunging/repairing toilets, repairing/replacing leaky spigots,faucets, pipes valves and related equipment equipment- Followall company and safety and security policies and procedures; ensureadherence to quality expectations and standards/>Requirements:Why You Want To Work For UsTraining we ProvideHow a Person Can Make an Impact in This JobThe Ideal Candidate for this PositionA candidate for Engineer 3 must meetthe following requirements:- Extensive buildingmaintenance knowledge and experience- Extensive mechanical andelectrical systems knowledge required- Knowledge of generalmaintenance and repairs with verifiable experience/ knowledge in atleast one building trade required- Must be willing andable to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, lateevenings, weekends, and holidays- Knowledge of generalbuilding repairs including plumbing, appliance repairs, laundryequipment- Able to speak with others using clear andprofessional language- Must be physically capable of standingfor the entire 8-hour shift and able to climbladders/serviceramps- Must be physically able to lift, push, carry, and pullup to 50 lbs.- Must be reliable, able to work independently,and willing to learn and to develop newskills- Positionrequires excellent guest service skills- 4 years experience in the hospitalityindustry is preferred-Knowledge ofgeneral maintenance and repairs with verifiable experience/ knowledgein at least one building trade required
