Additionally, the candidate must have basic knowledge of computer systems and associated software, their components and their relationship to the DCID 6/3, JAFAN 6/3, or NISPOM as well as web skills to perform application research. This position will require that the Anlyst have the ability to extensively research software manufacturers and applications to make sound decisions in processing software applications thru the government agency database for review/approvals. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and through written communications. The analyst must be able to pass an extensive government background investigation and the government sponsored industrial polygraph examination, if required.Position is located in Rancho Bernardo, CABasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree (or equivalent related experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Ability to obtain a TS/SSBI within one year. Demonstrated experience in the use of desktop computing, basic office equipment and the following relevant software applications: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems Security, Computer Security or Information Systems. Security certification. Possession of a current CISSP, CISP, or ISS related certification is also considered a plus.
