The Specialist works to eliminate denials allowing the organization to realize a decrease in the volume of denied accounts and dollars. Compiles data on inappropriate high volume denial types and works with payors to resolve cause of denials. Assists department leadership with ad-hoc reports and special projects.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalentTwo years of medical billing experience Working knowledge of medical terminology, MS applications and ability to navigate internetPossess effective oral and written communication skills, effective time management skills and the ability to multi-taskPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associate''s Degree in business, healthcare, administration or related fieldEOE/M/F/D/VHR Use Only:
