He or she will be responsible for establishing and successfully managing to sales target attainment, forecast and expense management, channel partner, industry and KOL relationship management. Communication, strategy development and execution with ResMed senior sales and the Respiratory Care teams is essential.Responsibilities:Develop relationships with key business drivers:* Hire, develop and lead the RAM team for the U.S. market.* Identify, partner with and develop strategic channel partners for the U.S. market in collaboration with the Respiratory Care SBU.* Build strong working relationships and coordinate with sales management, the Respiratory Care strategic business unit (SBU) and clinical education to drive the sales of ResMed Respiratory Care products.* Develop and leverage strong relationships with key external customers including channel partners, industry associations, market drivers (payors and GPOs) and key opinion leaders. Work with these parties to develop business models, sales strategy and product opportunities.   Sales Strategy and Development:* Plan, manage and execute on the sales and marketing strategy for ResMed Respiratory Care products in the U.S. market in collaboration with Vice President, Sales and Sr. Director Product Management, Respiratory Care.* Work with ResMed RAMs, sales management and channel partner management to continually develop the sales funnel and successfully execute against the revenue budget.   * Effectively communicate product positioning and sales strategy across the channels. Drive product and competitive expertise as needed to the Americas sales and clinical teams and to channel partners as necessary. * Partner with product management, marketing communications and the Americas clinical education team to create marketing, support and training materials.  Communication and organization:* Communicate proactively and effectively across all channels with all stakeholders, internal and external.* Communicate market intelligence and feedback from the field on product launches, acceptance, competitive activity and market conditions across the sales and clinical team and upstream to the Respiratory Care SBU.* Participate in the budget process in collaboration with the Vice President, Sales and the Sr. Director Product Management, Respiratory Care and other Americas commercial team members. * Actively participate in preparation, communication and follow up of ventilation business planning with the Americas markets and homecare and hospital channels.* Effectively manages escalated stakeholder issues with internal customers and educates the team on issue resolution.Requirements:Minimum: Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience, and ten-plus years          experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry in sales, marketing and/or clinical support.* Demonstrated track record of successful sales management. Must be a performer who can deliver results. Success in developing and leading sales teams.* Background in ventilation or respiratory care and hospital sales.* Communication skills &ndash; Highly professional, able to listen and speak effectively, strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.* Demonstrated business acumen &ndash; Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
