Provide general guidance on best practices and training, as an adjunct, on the repair and maintenance of naval or marine electrical and electronic generating equipment and distribution systems to a maintenance group ranging in experience levels. Develop equipment and system specific training guides. Support performance of maintenance directly as workload requires. Provide technical guidance and advice to Ship''s Force, NSSA, and RMC personnel pertinent to the operation, overhaul, and repair of specific items of auxiliary machinery, electrical, and hull support and aviation systems. Develop and maintain a prioritized listing of material deficiencies. Establish, implement, and maintain a plan of action to complete corrective actions and develop and maintain a prioritized plan of action to track critical deficiencies. This position is located in San Diego, CA.Basic Qualifications:-12 years of experience with the operation, repair, and maintenance of naval or marine electrical and electronic generating equipment and distribution systems-6 years of experience in a position of supervisory responsibility over a subordinate workforce involved in the physical maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and systems-1 year of experience as a technical instructor-Secret clearanceAdditional Qualifications:-Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments-Ability to be a self-starter and team player-Ability to perform well at multiple organizational levels with minimal guidance and collaborate well with others-HS diploma or GED-20 weeks of specialized formal courses in electrical and electronics maintenance and repair of naval and marine propulsion plants preferredClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
