<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Jr. Security Systems Specialist (Job Number:309518)Description:The CSBU currently has an opening for a Jr. Security Systems Specialist.Job Description: Provide first line technical support to Network Security customers with questions regarding account administration, distribution of software and documentation, system and network status, and problem entry via problem tracking tool. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, validating and implementing critical system patches, and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Maintain and update tracking tool. Coordinate and process User Remote Access Requests and User DoD PKI Soft Cert requests. Configure, implement and maintain host-based security services for managed antivirus, WSUS patch management and McAfee ePolicy HBSS intrusion prevention. Develop and analyze technical documentation and bulletins detailing security vulnerabilities and recommended system configurations to mitigate threats to network and individual hosts. Analyze and incorporate tools and processes for assessing scope of vulnerabilities.Work with various UNIX, Linux, MAC, Windows servers and workstations. Individuals collect and analyze event information and perform threat or target analysis duties. Provides operations for persistent monitoring of all designated networks, enclaves, and systems. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with Computer Network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. Manages and executes first-level responses and addresses reported or detected incidents. Reports to and coordinates with external organizations and authorities.Qualifications:TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor''s degree and 3+ years related experience.
