We mean business, proven through our certifications and quality work - but our business means enjoying what you do every day - today and every tomorrow.As aJunior Mechanical Engineer, you...* Production of engineering drawings and blue prints in an organized and timely manner* Designs and installation of medium voltage energy storage systems to all relevant voltage isolation and seismic requirements* Receive input form power systems engineers and provide acceptable mechanical design solutions* Evaluates alternative present and review design solutions to meet product requirements factoring in performance, cost and schedule* Participates as team member in product development projects while meeting schedule, cost and product performance goalsYour Powers(super, technical and otherwise)* US Citizen or Permanent Resident* BS in Mechanical Engineering* 2+ years of mechanical design experience beyond education experience* Strong capabilities in programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD* Must be familiar with electronic rack design* Ability to create and maintain structural integrity and voltage isolation safety documentation* Experience in battery or ultracapacitor system fabrication a strong plus* Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and business system software* Self-motivation and independent function is a necessary part of the job.
