Must be familiar with tolerance dimensioning in a thermal dynamic environment, Pro E, Solid Works, Auto Cad, 3D dimensioning, stress tolerance analysis, z stack analysis and optical recognition systems. Requires good written and verbal communication skills and ability to document and present data. Ability to interface with engineering teams and vendors and write clear and objective reports. The candidate will have a secondary responsibility for dimensional analysis of mechanical assemblies and packaged semiconductor product using metrology tools that include KLA Tencor (ICOS) and Nikon (Nexiv) vision systems as well as classical measurement equipment and techniques. This includes updating and parameterizing programs into the visual inspection machines based on mechanical drawings of chipsets.
