Documents findings, communicates results to
engineering staff and makes technical
presentations as required
May coordinate segments of a specific project and
may have frequent inter-organization and customer
contact on difficult technical issues
Provides direction to design or technical staff
and may provide direction to less experienced
professional staff
Supports the coordination all activities between
design engineering, QA, procurement, program
office, planning, configuration management, vendor
and customer
Provides design input and guidance
Ensures design and procurement documents are in
place to support procurement of component
Documents findings and implement solutions and
communicates results to engineering staff
May provide direction to design or technician
staff
Responsible for day to day management of
subcontractors for various components
Identifies and mitigates risk associated with
program
Assists in development and coordination production
schedule and provide cost and schedule status to
management and program office
Conducts technical evaluations to support
procurement decisions
Supports and resolves issues and problems at the
test site to support test schedule
Interfaces with the customer Navy and Shipyard
to support delivery and installation of components
and hardware
Supports testing of components and hardware
