This position is contingent upon award of contract.GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:* Responsible for the design, creation and support of visual medial development in a wide variety of settings.* Able to produce complex, technical and graphically oriented materials utilizing isometric, spatial perspective and other illustration techniques.* Provides for the production of audio and video assets to support learning solutions, understands the requirements for audio and video integration into multiple learning delivery technologies.* Working from design briefs, verbal instructions and sketches, creates multiple, quick, innovative solutions for various assignments.* Reviews and approves all layouts, proofs, and artwork before final integration into product.* Ensures that graphic deliverables meet the aesthetic and financial requirements of the project.* Presents graphic ideas and solutions to project team and provides design rationale.WORK ENVIRONMENT* Smoke free environment, standard office setting.* Sits for long periods of time in front of computerLocations:* Orlando, FL, Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CARequired Experience:JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Strong eye for design; demonstrative creativity, demonstrated ability in professional graphics software packages such as Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator.* Comprehensive skills in multimedia design,3D modeling and animation, Adobe Flash, post production and web development.* Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and organization in all dealings with business associates and clients.* Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.PREFERRED OR SPECIALIZED JOB SKILLS:* Java andor Javascript programming skills* Flash programming skills* C++ programming skillsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Level I: H.S. diploma and 2+ years experience in Graphics design/programming development* Level II: BS/BA in related field and 3-5 yrs experience, or H.S. diploma and 6+ years experience in Graphics design/programming development.* Level III: MS in related field and 6+ yrs experience, or BS with 10 years experience, or H.S. diploma and 15 years experience in Graphics design/programming developmentKeyword: Visual Information Specialist, Web Graphics DesignerFrom: Kratos Defense
