Additional FNP or PNP education or experience preferred. The scope of responsibility will be for a 12-bed Level II NICU and a small low-acuity pediatric unit (orientation will be provided as necessary). Qualified NNPs with no pediatric experience will be considered.This position will also provide coverage within Rady Children''s main campus high acuity NICU. The NNP group provides coverage at multiple sites throughout the county of San Diego and there are many opportunities for an NNP to provide care in varied settings.JOB SUMMARY:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers primary care to acute, critical, complex chronically ill and well neonates collaboratively with the Division of Neonatology. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients and their families. The Nurse Practitioner also functions as a clinical leader, consultant and educator in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and all healthcare team members.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master
