The Americas Product Specialist will work closely with the Strategic Business Units (SBU) Product Marketing teams to ensure that they know the latest products, tools and support materials available to the field. The Product Specialist will seek to improve the efficiency of response to our field sales teams and internal questions from Technical Services, Customer Service. The position will be a “one-stop-shop” for product specifications, presentations, manuals, warranty questions, and other common inbound requests. The product specialist will recommend and develop additional support tools and processes to keep the latest information at the fingertips of our field teams. Assist with product management sales support as required.Responsibilities:* Work closely with SBU teams and execute on specific product support programs to drive business for the field based sales force* Own post launch activities, identify missed opportunities for education and competitive advantages. Implement programs* Serve as the product resource expert for field facing sales representatives on all currently selling products managed by the SBU teams* Respond to all inbound requests within 30 minutes, with a goal of answering the calls and e-mails in real time* Development and implement competitive product analysis and positioning tools to support activities focused on winning competitive market share.* Master e-sales and e-marketing. Develop and execute successful sales resource programs for ongoing internal and external educational programs.* Identify opportunities for improved sales and business efficiencies. Determine the best course for action and directly implement recommended changes.* Coordinate closely with the product owners to ensure that unmet needs are communicated and implemented in development of future products.Requirements:* EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor''s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university and three plus years related experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or high technology product marketing, service, or support function. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.* Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.* Must have experience working with customers over the phone and have a pleasant phone demeanor* Current knowledge of ResMed products and services highly desirableCOMPUTER SKILLS* Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
