Has responsibility for all revenue and profit generated within the region to include distribution and Industrial Accounts. Develops and implements specific regional strategic plans to support annual and long range plan objectives. Provides leadership across direct reports and throughout the organization by collaboration, credibility and accountability. Effective developer of a highly proficient sales team by building the skills and talents of direct reports throught coaching, mentoring and the effective use of personal development plans.* Leads on-going market analysis by obtaining intelligence throught multiple sources such as direct and agent sales team, customers and trade focus. Develops and implements regional strategies. Translates corporate objectives into regional and territory sales plans. Recognizes trends, creates strategies and develops regional vision to drive change to maximize sales and earnings.* Formulate advanced selling techniques with a focus on value creation to the specifier, end user and channel customers. Develop communication and territory management skills in direct reports and throughout regional sales team. Assesses team member’s skill level and routinely provides timely and appropriate feedback to strengthen individual performances. .* Achieve annual revenue and margin plans. Create and manage budgets to annual plan.* Leads the regional selling team by building credibility within the organization as well as outside stakeholders. Drives accountability for plans and actions that build the various brands focused on the end user segmented markets within the selling region. Proactiviley provides feed back and recommendations to other functions within the sales leadership team as well as marketing, distribution and engineering. Actively collaborates with these functions to ensure coordination with strategic regional selling plans.* Establishes and maintains top level contact with the management of existing and potential customers, dealers and/or distributors. Measures and monitors the effectiveness of all programs This includes all channel and end user product introductions, and management of channel conflict.* Identify, lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational* effectiveness in meeting company goals. This may include selecting and on-boarding talent, communicating effectively to foster a culture of engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment; and coaching through feedback, development planning and performance management.Job Requirements* Bachelor’s degree required.* MBA preferred.* 7-10 years of sales management experience, with 5 years of territory management responsibility.* Able and willing to travel overnight 50%.* Proven ability to influence customers.* Ability to analyze sales data and determine appropriate actions to improve account position.* Results driven with ability to manage multiple priorities with highly effective follow through skills.* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
