The CE also works with Systems Engineering teams to develop component specifications and clearly communicate the requirements to the suppliers. Work with RF Systems team to develop requirements for custom filters/duplexers/diplexers/couplers used in Qualcomm reference designs. Recommending component changes to designs to best support aggressive design/build schedules. Reviewing preliminary & released BOMs for best practice parts selection, cost reductions, obsolescence issues. Managing failure analysis processes for problem components. Support procurement and quality engineering on component related issues.Skills/Experience Candidate should have a broad knowledge of RF components including the ability to identify key suppliers for various technology segments. Candidate will have the ability to understand and identify key technical areas requiring in-depth research into possible component solutions in the overall project and delegate this work to department technology specialists. Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Program management experience is a definite plus. Requires experience using Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint.
