Provides operations for persistent monitoring on a 24/7 basis of all designated networks, enclaves, and systems. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with Computer Network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. Manages and executes first-level responses and addresses reported or detected incidents. Reports to and coordinates with external organizations and authorities. Coordinates and distributes directives, vulnerability, and threat advisories to identified consumers. Provides daily summary reports of network events and activities and delivers metric reports.Qualifications:Required Education / Skills- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent and 3+ years related experience.- Understanding of network protocols and topology- Knowledge of Firewall/VPN/Intrusion Detection & Prevention/Anti-Virus/PKI applications and configurations- Experience and / or knowledge of SEIM systems Desired:- DOD Baseline IA Certifications (1 or more of the following desirable): - A+ - Network+ - SSCP- Teamwork, self-initiative, and strong communications skills- Shift work is required with availability to work evening / midnight shiftSAIC Overview:SAIC is a FORTUNE 500
